Workflow Options

There are as many different ways to organize and manage your photos as there are photographers. 

In this lesson, I will show you my method and the software that I use to quickly and easily organize and edit images. This is by no means the only way to work, but it is a system that I have developed that is efficient and produces great results.

For the purpose of this course, we will define Workflow as:

• Image format
• Downloading
• Organizing
• Selecting
• Editing
• Saving
• Posting
• Printing

Photographers use a variety of cameras, computers, software and printers. The possible combinations are endless. You have heard about lightroom, photoshop, iphoto, picassa, corel, bridge and likely many more. I am sure that each has there own benefits but it would be silly to suggest we could examine them all here in this course.

However, I will show you the tried and test method I use to manage organize and edit. Its fast, has made me a very good living and I think its very easy to learn.

In this course we will use AcdSee. It is a reasonably priced software tool that will speed up your process and make photography fun. In Lesson 3 of this course you will find a step by step process for downloading and installing AcdSee. I have been using AcdSee for 15 years and I could not imagine doing what I do without it. Its fast and easy.
